Avoiding the Spam Filter
Keeping your emails out of the spam filter and keeping a high level of deliverability is what we do here at OptCulture.
To ensure that your emails will be successfully delivered we suggest that the email size be no more than 100kb of HTML (images and/or text). Email platforms have varying email size limits that they allow before clipping or reaching the spam filter but for most, that number is 100kb.
What is Clipping?
When an email is received that is too long to display, email platforms will "clip" the email. This means that for your customers to view the full content of the email they must click to open the web version of the email and typically must click a link such as below.
How will I know if my email is too large?
If you attempt to send an email you have built that is over 100kb our system will alert you via the error below.
If you ever receive this message it means that you have either too much text or images and need to reduce the amount of content in your email. We always suggest sending a test email before scheduling a campaign so that you will be alerted to the size of the email prior to scheduling your campaigns.
